Great Court

Great Court designed by Foster and partners, part of the British Museum, opened in Decemeber 2000 at a cost of £100 million.

The Great Court's glass and steel roof demanded incredible accuracy and was designed usign computers. The construction of the roof began in September 1999. The structure consists of 478-tonne of steel structure and 315 tonnes of glass.
